Windows update emails trying to steal Yahoo, Gmail, AOL passwords
An unsolicited and malicious email affecting Windows computers is currently spreading throughout the wild trying to steal your Gmail, AOL, Yahoo or Windows Live password. Please be wary of these emails claiming to be coming from privacy@microsoft.com.
Here is a sample of the bogus email.
The message itself may be harmless, but if you make a mistake by clicking the link, you will be taken to a third party website where you will be warned that your computer is at high risk and will be told to choose between logging in via Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, or Windows Live. So please be careful. You have been warned...
