iOS 6 coming in September 19

Apple has announced that iOS 6 will be available for download this coming September 19. It’s a free update for all iOS devices including and since iPhone 3GS. Some features of iOS 6 are not available in every country. You can check it here.

Here are a few of what to expect in iOS 6:

Maps

This will replace the traditional Google Maps and offers its own turn-by-turn navigation, 3D views, and realtime traffic updates (doesn’t apply to all areas).

Photo Stream

The new photo stream will allow you to share your photos using iCloud the people you select. This will also include web sharing of iOS-generated photos.

Siri

One of the biggest update. This iPhone assistant will now be able to provide movie showtimes and facts, answer sports related questions, make reservations, play trailers, etc.

Passbook

An new iOS app. Basically and e-wallet, which keeps and manages your boarding passes, coupons, etc.

Facebook

It is now fully integrated throughout iOS. From Camera, locations from Maps, Safari, to Game centre.

Phone

Take full control of your phone by managing your callers. Send them to voicemail, reply with a message, do not disturb, etc.
