Apple Removed Web Sharing in Mountain Lion
If your a web designer/web developer who's using OS X's built-in web sharing feature, you may not like this. Apple apparently removed Web Sharing from the System Preferences... > Sharing option. But don't worry, they still include Apache HTTP Server. So, the easiest that you can do is move or create a symbolic link of your source files to /Library/WebServer/Documents folder.
If you want to have a more comprehensive website management for your Mac, Apple apparently suggests that your install OS X Server from download it from their Mac App Store. You can read more from their knowledge base here:

As alternative, I would recommend that you use MAMP for Mac as your backend for website development.
